“Hands on Shop Floor Execution (SFE) module training for those who need to understand and construct process routings that drive capacity plans and product cost models.”

This session continues with the fundamental training provided in the Product Strategy & Structure – Bills of Material session by reviewing the process side of those structures (i.e., the part routings). It reviews the setup of Work Center Master data and the building of the Part Routing for both normal and alternate routings. The main part of this section is the development of the proper lead-time elements including standard queues, setup time, run time and move days. A great deal of time will be spent on setup and run time calculations.

This 2-hour session will provide fundamental training utilizing PowerPoint slides for narratives, as well as, provide actual examples in an Exact MAX Training database. This session is intended for those experienced in creating product structure relationships / process specifications that need a refresher, as well as those new to the engineering function.
